UHC Medical Transport is currently requesting that anyone with flu-like symptoms, those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or those that have been in direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 NOT use NEMT at this time. If you are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, coughing, or shortness of breath, contact us to cancel your ride and contact your healthcare provider immediately.
OUR APPROACH
We ensure that all of our drivers are utilizing PPE and approved cleaning supplies to guarantee the safety of every patient during their ride
- Our drivers are supplied with masks and gloves for their patient and themselves during their trip
- Disinfectant wipes and/or solutions
- Routine cleanings of vehicles exteriors and interiors
- Disposable plastic bags to discard of any material left in the vehicle
- Requiring masks for both driver and patien
